 | Our only son Calvin was killed in a car accident on Stephen's Pass in Washington State. His death came swiftly. Calvin grew up in a small northwestern town just south of the British Columbia - Washington State border. He relished motor-biking and camping trips with friends around the northwest. I remember Calvin telling me about the blast at Mount St. Helen's. He told me about the dry searing ash landing thick as snow on cars as they were leaving the eruption area. He was lucky to have been in a car and to have made it out alive. Sometimes, he would never call for months. We would worry about him so. One day, he would show up at home, the next he would be gone. Calvin sought interactive adventure, friendship, loving and support with those around him. His favorite place was the beach, campfires, long starry nights with friends. Calvin, wandering was your passion, now your death has set your spirit free. With love always, Mom and Dad. |
