Pamela was the sauciest woman you'd ever want to meet. She held court wherever she was, always with bright determination, and selective control with her "audience". I was introduced to Pamela at my younger son, Stephen's wedding. Pamela's husband John was my daughter-in-law's father's wife. She always had a look on her face seething with contempt. I don't know if she was ever quite happy. But, I learned very quick at family functions, not to tangle with her. I just steered clear of her. I don't mean to sound negative, but that's the type of person she was. She buried 3 husbands, on the rebound for more wealth and power. I felt sorry for my daughter-in-law. Apparently her life was made pure living hell by her step-mother. She died before Pamela, of a heart attack. Pamela followed shortly thereafter much to the relief of everyone. Pamela was in a class shared by few, few who gambled all, dared to cheat life and lost their mortality. |
