| "So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth for ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands." God chose Anthony to lead his flock. He went into the Seminary in his college years and accepted the priesthood as his life's work. It wasn't until he married Florence in 1975 that he chose to retire from the priesthood and make a homelife in Chicago. They moved to Springfield in 1980 when alzheimer's began to ravage Florence's mind. Deterioration was swift and Florence passed away in 1985. Anthony directed his efforts towards community work. He will be sadly missed by friends and family alike. |  |
