"Honour thy father: Give and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal, it shall be measured to you again."
My husband was just such a man... a giving man... a caring man... a man always there for family and friend alike. Dad had a strange sense of humour, but humour is good medicine, the best antidote to so many ills that can afflict a person; anger, frustration, depression, loneliness. So I learned that important lesson from my Dad and carry on the tradition by trying to bring a smile or a chuckle to any I meet in my travels along a life path set out before me by my guardian spirit. |
